Born into a middle-class, first-generation Chinese American family, he was immersed in a culture rich with academic vigor. Education was his gateway to fulfilling these dreams. He pursued a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences at the University of California, Irvine, laying the groundwork for his medical career. His quest for knowledge then took him across the globe to the esteemed St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies, further shaping his medical perspective.
